Elections to the Board of Management take place every 4 years. At present parents are entitled to elect two representatives on the Board.
Functions Of The Board
The Board of Management is responsible for the care and maintenance of the school building, and ensures that the school is adequately cleaned and heated. The Board has ultimate responsibility for discipline in the school. The Board of Management receives funding from the Department of Education and Science in the form of grants based on the number of pupils.
